Copy station

A simple copy station which copies all files from the SD card to a connected USB stick. The progress of the copy operation will be shown on the display. If all files have been copied, the USB stick can be removed and another USB stick can be plugged in.

A useful project for everyone who has to fill a lot of USB sticks with the same files.

Step by Step: Using the copy station


Step 1:

Copy Station 01
Directly after powering up the copy station, you can plug-in a USB stick to the evaluation board.

Step2:

Copy Station 03
The USB stick will be enumerated and the data will be copied from the SD card to the stick.

Step 3:

Copy Station 02After finishing the copy operation, a status message will be shown. Thereafter, the USB stick can be removed.

Evaluation Board used for this project:

  • STM32F746G-Disco

No additional hardware necessary.
